  • Does MIMOV work with a SIM card of any mobile operator? Yes, it does. MIMOV is a free phone which is able to work with SIM cards of any mobile operator of the market.
  • What kind of SIM card do I need? If you insert in MIMOV a SIM card with voice and data plan, you could access to all the functions that MIMOV and MIMOV web platform offers. On the other hand, if you insert in MIMOV a SIM card with only voice plan, you can't access to all the functions related to location issues.
  • How can I introduce the phone numbers of the contacts related with each MIMOV key? You can access to MIMOV web platform, www.mimov.com, using your "User" and "Password", then click the option "Contacts options" of the menu and follow the indications.
  • What happens if I press SOS key? When you press SOS key of MIMOV, it will send a SMS to each one of the phone numbers set in the memory of SOS key. Then MIMOV will make a phone call to the first of these phone numbers, if the call would not be answered, MIMOV would call to the second one of these phone numbers, if the call would not be answered, MIMOV would call to the third one.
  • Can I know MIMOV location? Yes, you can. You can access to MIMOV web platform, www.mimov.com, using your "User" and "Password" and then click the option "Phone location" of the menu, the platform will show you MIMOV location. This option will be available just in case you are using a SIM card with voice and data plan.
  • How do I enter the contacts associated to each button? From the "Managing Contacts " section , you can allocate phone numbers to the MIMOV keys.
  • What happens when you press the SOS button? By pressing the SOS button, the MIMOV system sends an SMS message to each of the contacts set for this button and then makes a phone call to the first preset contact. If this call is not answered , another telephone call is made to the second contact, and if this one -in turn- is not answered , it proceeds to call the third contact.
  • How to make a call from MIMOV? To make a call from your MIMOV phone you just have to press either the contact 1, contact 2 or the SOS button for 3 seconds until you feel a vibration. The keys will light up and a melody will indicate that the call has started.
  • Can I track the MIMOV phone location? Yes , by accessing the intranet on our www.mimov.es website, through the section " Tracking Services " you can find out the location of the phone.
  • What is a safety area ? You can set up safety areas for the MIMOV user. When this feature is activated, MIMOV will issue a warning on the website every time the MIMOV user leaves the safety area. To create a safery area, enter the www.mimov.es website using your username and password and select the " Safety Area " option in the tracking services section. Read the instructions to create the safety area.
